This method of poaching eggs has never really worked for me in my Ninja Foodi MAX OP500, but all air fryers are different. If you only have an air fryer, and no hob, then try it out. I've gone back to poaching on my induction hob in a pan and then finishing off with the breadcrumb coating in the air fryer, which works a treat instead of deep frying.

So, I've left the best result of my experiments of poaching the eggs in my Ninja 500 here...
Oil silicone molds or ramekins, add 3-4 tbsp of boiling water to each, crack in an egg, and air fry at 200°C for 7 minutes for runny yolks.
(no matter how I oiled the molds or ramekins, the whites always stuck... It needs the swirl of water... Although some websites recipes seem to have had success with other silicone molds/baskets...)

Gently lift the poached eggs out with a slotted spoon and place in an ice bath.
Whichever way you do your eggs, now the faff starts, but worth it.
Get 3 bowls/plates, one with a whisked egg, one with seasoned flour, and one with bread crumbs.
Drain and dry the poached eggs on kitchen towels/catering blue roll etc and coat them in that order, eggs, flour, bread crumbs.
Place gently onto the air fryer wire rack (I have a perforated crisping pan that I spray oil on which works better for this) and set at 200°C for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
